Who we are
DuosDigitos is an efficient product company. We make software that keeps everyday internet use private, and we make it the way we would make it for ourselves. We are not an agency: we don't sell hours or take orders. We build our own products and keep them running.
Our first product is SafePlace, a VPN. Every server it connects to is ours: we set it up, run it and pay for it. There is nothing for the user to set up or import. You install the app and connect.
Most of our day-to-day work is done by AI agents: they write and test code, build releases and run the servers. People decide what to build and when it is ready, and people answer for the result. That is what makes us efficient. We do one thing at a time: a product is finished and running before we start the next.
The agents are in how we work, not in what you install. The apps are ordinary software running on servers we own: there is no AI inside them, and your traffic never goes through one.
How we work
- Transparency
- Everything on this site can be checked: the registration number, the D-U-N-S number, the signature on the installers, and one privacy policy that says what we keep and for how long.
- Expertise
- We build and run our own servers. The macOS app is signed and notarised by Apple in the company's name, the Windows app is signed with a Certum certificate issued to the company, and our Google Play account is an organisation account verified through Dun & Bradstreet.
- Team
- People make the decisions and answer for them; agents do the work. One set of rules for everything we ship, and every decision is written down with its reason.
- Adaptability
- We change course when we learn something new. The plan moves; the goal doesn't.
- Mutual respect
- We argue with evidence, not with job titles. Whoever brings the facts is right.
- Creativity
- The picture on the front page is computed, not drawn, and this site was built without a template. We would rather work something out than copy it.
What we want
We are not after a good-enough product. We want software with no compromise the user has to accept: our own network, nothing to configure, updates verified by checksum, and release notes that say what broke.
We want to be the best at this, and we would rather prove it than say it.
